The 300ZX -this article by Steve Chong 1998 updated 2005

Introduction

Perhaps you are a new owner of a Nissan 300ZX or maybe you are thinking about buying one, or perhaps your interested in cars generally. Whatever the case, I hope you find some of the information your looking for in this article.

There is a wealth of information available on the second generation 300ZX , and  I hope this summary will make a good starting point for those who are starting on the ground floor and want to know more.

This article summarizes some of the development behind the  300ZX, some of the technical features and a few tips in buying a used 300ZX, but more importantly, what models you have to chose from, and some of the differences in the models  that are found in New Zealand and other countries

But first, a few acronyms. Understanding these will help you when you visit the many other 300ZX sites on the internet. NA stands for normally aspirated, referring to the non turbo 300ZX, TT stands for twin turbo and 90+ refers to the second generation 300ZX model, even though production and sales started in 1989. Prices and capacities, where not specified are in metric units.
